We’ve made improvements to how email notifications work for comments inside Martini.

On busy productions, there can be a lot of activity — and we don’t want your inbox to feel overwhelmed. So we’ve refined when and who receives comment notifications to keep things relevant and focused.

What’s Changed?

To reduce noise:

  • Only the creator of a creative or frame will receive an email when someone leaves a comment.
  • For comment replies, both:
    • The creator of the frame
    • The person being replied to

will receive an email notification.

This ensures the right people stay informed — without notifying everyone involved in the project.

Project-Specific Controls

Comment email notifications can be turned on or off at any time in your Project Settings.

These preferences are project-specific, meaning:

  • Changing the setting in one project will not affect any other projects.
  • Each project can have its own notification behavior based on how your team prefers to work.

We’ll continue refining notifications to strike the right balance between staying informed and staying focused.
